FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to deforming aluminum alloys of system aluminum-copper-magnesium. Aluminum- -base alloy comprises the following components, wt.-%: copper, 3.8-4.9; magnesium, 0.4-2.5; manganese, 0.3-1.2; titanium, 0.01-0.1; at least one element from the group: boron, 0.0001-0.05; carbon, 0.00001-0.008; aluminum, the balance. Invention provides the enhancement of technological ductility in hot deformation and welding capacity that allows to enhance labor output and to make articles of complex form.
