FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy and alloys.
SUBSTANCE: alloy, which can be used for making foil and thin sheets for subsequent fabrication of wrappings in food, pharmacological, cosmetic, and other industries, contains following ingredients, wt %: iron 0.2-2.5, silicon 0.02-1.5, titanium 0.001-0.08, nickel and/or cobalt at most 0.15, and at least one element selected from group including boron, carbon, vanadium at most 0.05, aluminum and impurities - the rest. In impurities, content of each lead, cadmium, sodium, and calcium does not exceed 0.03 and their sum 0.08.
EFFECT: increased strength and plasticity of thin sheets and foil in annealed state thus allowing assortment of fabricated articles to be enlarged and fabrication of articles to be facilitated.
