FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to deformable aluminum alloys of the system magnesium-copper-magnesium designated for using as structural material in aerospace industry and machine engineering. Aluminum-base alloy comprises the following components, wt.-%: copper, 3.0-4.2; magnesium, 1.0-2.2; manganese, 0.1-0.8; zirconium, 0.03-0.2; titanium, 0.01-0.1; vanadium, 0.001-0.15; at least one element of the group: nickel, 0.001-0.25; cobalt, 0.001-0.25; aluminum, the balance. Invention provides the enhancement of plasticity and value K1c of viscosity destruction in the height direction, enhancement of solid solution stability, reduced rate of development of fatigue crack and reduction of sensitivity to intercrystallite corrosion.
