FIELD: service and drinking water supply systems. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to regeneration of filtering surfaces of seepage structures. Proposed device for washing off impurities from filtering surface contains drive and ripper made in form of flat geared inclined knife with stagger inclined pressure-head shield mounted over knife. Screw-like grooves are made on inner surface of said shield, changing into spirals before first posts in direction of flow of contaminated layer. Cutting edge of flat geared inclined knife is made in form of semi-spiral grooves with sharp edges pointed to center, and on its inner surface curvilinear spiral-like guides are made.
