METHOD OF DETECTION OF FAULTY SEALING OF FLOW STRING PROVIDED WITH TUBING PIPES Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: oil and gas producing industry; particularly, methods of detection of faulty sealing of flow string provided with tubing pipes. SUBSTANCE: method provides for registration of flow rate of pumped fluid by two flowmeters of similar design and calibrated at preset pressure. Fluid is pumped with help of autonomous pumping unit, for instance, of cementing pumping unit of TsA-320 m type. One of flowmeters is lowered into well below tubing funnel, and the other is cut in line of fluid pumping at wellhead. Faulty sealing of flow string is detected by difference in readings of said flowmeters. In this case, flowmeter included into line of fluid pumping at wellhead is placed in length of pipe whose diameter equals diameter tubing pipes lowered into well. EFFECT: higher accuracy of detection of flow string faulty sealing. 1 dwg
