FIELD: oil producing industry; sucker-rod deep-well pumping units. SUBSTANCE: proposed sucker rod contains glass plastic rod and metal heads mounted at both sides of rod. Heads are provided with connecting part with threaded member at one side, and mounting part with inner space and thrust surface at other side. Mounting part is designed for fixing end part of rod. Walls of mounting part are provided with ring cylindrical zones and ring conical zones. Diameters of cylindrical zones and minimum diameters of conical zones exceeds outer diameter of rod. Adhesive, filling space between inner cavity of head mounting part and outer surface of rod, forms adhesive connection and conical wedges to provide fastening of heads on rod. Rod is made in form of straight cylinder with base in form of round ring with longitudinal channel inside rod. Thrust surface of inner space is made circular. Axial cylindrical channel getting out to inner space is made in connecting part. Diameter of axial cylindrical channel is equal to diameter of longitudinal channel in rod and forms continuous cylindrical channel. Rod can include fibrous filler orientated in axis of its cylindrical surface and fibrous filler arranged in planes passing at angle to axis of its cylindrical surface, for instance, square to cylindrical surface.
