FIELD: oilfield equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the design of fiberglass pumping rods, integral with metal heads, intended for mechanized oil production, used to transmit reciprocating motion from the surface drive of a rod pumping unit to the plunger of a well pump. The pump rod consists of a rod made of fiberglass, at the ends of which metal heads are fixed with a permanent adhesive-mechanical connection. At the end parts of the rod, spiral-shaped grooves and closed grooves are made on its outer surface, evenly distributed along the diameter of the rod. Metal heads consist of a cylindrical base, a shank, flats, a limiting collar and a threaded part. In the body of each of the heads there is an internal longitudinal blind cylindrical hole. In the area of the cylindrical base, internal cones are made, with the base directed towards the threaded part, filled with epoxy resin. In the cylindrical base and shank, threaded holes are made perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the heads with pressure set screws screwed into them, resting against the rod. One of the mentioned screws is designed to be combined with pressure and temperature sensors and a sensor for acidity and alkalinity of solutions. The outputs of the mentioned sensors are connected to the measuring inputs of a telemetry unit mounted on the outer surface of the metal head and equipped with a wireless communication module.

EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the connection between the rod and the pump rod heads, as well as the possibility of using it as a fluid monitoring unit in the production string of tubing pipes.
