FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: pump includes cylinder 1 with suction valve 2, plunger 3 connected through connecting coupling 5 to stem 16, injection valve 12 in valve cage 11 connected to connecting coupling 5. Plunger 3 is equipped through thrust ring 9 and nut 10, which are installed with possibility of creating a process gap between them. Connecting coupling 5 is equipped with external annular projection 6, with upper conical surface 7 and lower conical surface 8 and installed with possibility of alternating interaction with mating conical surfaces of thrust ring 9 and nut 10 at back-and-forth movement of plunger 3. Under action of the weight of stem 16, lower conical surface 8 of annular projection 6 creates the pressure on nut 10 and presses it to the well of cylinder 1, thus contributing to reduction of a gap between plunger 3 and cylinder 1, which prevents penetration of mechanical impurities into the gap between cylinder 1 and plunger 3 and excludes jamming of plunger 3 in cylinder 1.
