FIELD: sonar and radar technology; location of flying vehicles, helicopters in particular above sea water area from submarine ships in submerged position. SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in emerging positive buoyancy buoy by variable-depth sonar cable; radars and microphones are carried by positive buoyancy buoys or are secured on air vehicles connected with positive buoyancy buoys by means of variable-depth sonar cables. Air space above water area is surveyed by means of radars and microphones; first passive acoustic devices operate, that is microphones and if they locate no object, commands are furnished via variable-depth sonar cables for active search of flying vehicle.
