FIELD: pulse electronics, high- voltage pulse generators based on inductive energy storage circuits. SUBSTANCE: salient feature of proposed way to form high-voltage pulses consists in use thyratron in the capacity of current breaker. Gas pressure specifying parameter Q = Ap + B is set in advance, then values of voltage of power supply source, inductance of choke and capacitance of capacitor are computed employing relation Qcr = C•Epsv•(1-cosω•tbr).. There is proposed circuit design of device with grounded load for realization of way. There is suggested another way that differs from above-mentioned way according to which voltage of negative polarity is fed to grid of thyratron at moment of break of discharge. EFFECT: reduced mass and size characteristics of high-voltage pulse generators, decreased voltage of used power supply sources, raised amplitude of generated pulses. 2 cl, 5 dwg
