SEEDING UNIT FOR DRILL Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: seeding unit has bin with rectangular throat and seeding device suspended to bin bottom by means of flexible suspenders and equipped with vibration drive. Bin throat bottom has shield with two sliding surfaces and throat walls adjoining to shield are equipped with windows closed with dosing devices, which may be adjusted in vertical plane. Each of dosing devices has movable lower part. Shaft with double-bladed valve is mounted in lower portion of lower part sides. Pin is fixed in poles on rear side of one blade, with ends of pin extending from both sides beyond dosing devices. Plastic hollow floats are mounted on dosing devices so that their lower surfaces and ends of lower cuts of movable part walls of dosing devices are arranged in single horizontal plane. Dosing devices are inserted into individual pockets formed in both side walls of seeding device casing. Seeding unit may be used for seeding both seeds and fertilizer. EFFECT: wider operational capabilities and improved quality of seeding seeds of different farm crops. 7 dwg
