FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: seeding unit has hopper fixed on frame, seeding device suspended from below to hopper by means of flexible hangers and having rectangular casing. Elongated holes are formed in casing bottom and adjusting faceplate with identical holes is arranged above these holes. Seed guide tips and casing drive are disposed below casing bottom. End walls of seeding unit casing which are in contact with seeds are made wedge-shaped, with apexes of wedges being directed one to another. Angles defined by wedge- shaped end walls of casing and seeding unit vibrations direction are less than or equal to friction angle of seed material against end wall surfaces. Seed material rippers are positioned in mid portion of seeding unit casing in the vicinity of seeding holes on adjusting faceplate. EFFECT: simplified construction and, increased efficiency by improved uniformity of seed spreading. 2 dwg
