FIELD: medicine, stomatology. SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with predicting different pathological types of masseter muscles in masticatory system. Patient is asked to sit down into an arm-chair for palpatory detection of masticatory system's motor sites. Then a headband is put on a patient and pickup units are placed on it with the help of magnetic hangers. Sensing elements of pickup units should be fixed with plaster upon chosen symmetric pair of motor sites. Dosed testing impact is performed onto submental region. Responses from pickup units are registered on measuring equipment. Impact could be applied in static state of closed dentures and/or during masticatory sample at the moment of dentures' jointing. The present innovation enables to evaluate functional and morphological anomalies based upon obtained objective biophysical parameters. EFFECT: higher accuracy of diagnostics. 4 cl, 7 dwg
