FIELD: medicine; dentistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to determine the muscle coordination factor in the chewing movement phase. Method comprises analyzing biopotentials (BP) in a group of muscles lifting a lower jaw—front parts of right and left temporal, right and left masseter muscles, in muscles lowering the lower jaw—right and left suprahyoid muscles, as well as in cervical muscles—right and left sternocleidomastoid. Said BP is recorded by computerized electromyograph BKN, Italy and surface electrodes, for this purpose functional test "Chewing hazelnut" for 8 seconds, first with right, then with left side. Results of electromyography are used to calculate average BP values of chewing, temporal, suprahyoid and sternocleidomastoid muscles. Further, determining coordination coefficient muscles in the chewing movement phase by formula γcmot = φmt(1+φscm)−φs(1−φscm) / φmt+φs, where: γcmot—coefficient of muscle coordination in the chewing motion phase, φmt—the average value of masseter and temporalis muscles BP, φs—mean BP value of suprahyoid muscle, φscm—the average value of sternocleidomastoid muscle BP. In its turn average values are calculated by formula φx = Ax × (Kx / (Kx+1)), where x is analyzed muscle; A is average value of BP analyzed, obtained from three maximum amplitudes of electromyogram indicators in phase of bioelectrical activity of muscles; K is activity factor of analyzed muscle, calculated by formula K = Ta/Tn, where Ta—duration of bioelectric activity of the analyzed muscle (in seconds), Tn—duration of bioelectric rest of the analyzed muscle (in seconds).
EFFECT: method provides determining the muscle coordination coefficient in the chewing motion phase by analyzing muscle biopotentials.
