FIELD: machine engineering, namely technique for working complex-profile hard-to-work electrically conductive materials with large length of interelectrode duct. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of supplying electrolyte and draining it out of interelectrode space; supplying electrolyte at end of braking period of electrolyte flow along the whole working surface of electrode at interval not exceeding 200 interelectrode gaps by pressure exceeding working pressure in interelectrode space; interrupting supply of electrolyte after resuming motion of its flow; calculating pressure value for supplying electrolyte according to mathematical relationship. Tool-electrode includes housing, working surface and cavity over it formed by restricting wall. In working surface of tool-electrode and in wall restricting it there are mutually coaxial upper and lower openings or slits provided with double valves having elastic members.
