FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: technical result of invention lies in provision of optimal magneto-fluid-dynamic parameters, in increased operational stability of electrolyzer and in raised yield of aluminum. This technical result is achieved as bus arrangement includes cathode rods with cathode buses connected to anode buses of next electrolyzer by means of risers, two of them being placed along longitudinal sides and two others being placed on face side of electrolyzer. Right-hand riser longitudinal side is positioned on center of bath and riser located on left-hand longitudinal side is displaced off center of electrolyzer towards current of series. EFFECT: raised yield of aluminum and increased operational stability of electrolyzer. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
