FIELD: non- ferrous metallurgy, design of bus arrangements in electrolyzers for electrolytic winning of aluminum. SUBSTANCE: method of transmission of current in electrolyzers operating at current intensity of 100.0-500.0 kA includes transmission of current to next electrolyzer over several packages of buses parallel to short sides of anode mass, part of them being passed under bottom and matched with direction of current in series. Summary fraction of current in packages located under bottoms is found by formula D=(0.2-0.25) J-27, where D is fraction of current in packages located under bottoms as part of total current, fractions of unit; J is current intensity, kA. EFFECT: provision for optimal configuration of magnetic field of electrolyzer, diminished harmful effect of electromagnetic forces on cathode metal, increased current efficiency. 1 dwg
