FIELD: pressure vessels. SUBSTANCE: proposed high-pressure metal-plastic cylinder consists of two end parts and central part located in between. Safety factor of end parts is 4-15% higher than safety factor of central part. According to proposed method of serviceability checking of high-pressure metal-plastic cylinder, increment in outer diameter of cylindrical part of cylinder under action on internal pressure is measured. Serviceability checking device contains support made for holding metal-plastic cylinder and at least one displacement detector. Displacement detector is installed on support for measuring increment in outer diameter of cylindrical part of metal-plastic cylinder.
