Abstract RU 2210832 C2

FIELD: electrical equipment; dc circuit switching devices. SUBSTANCE: device has pre-charged capacitor connected in series with choke coil and through two thyristors and normally-open auxiliary contacts, to power contacts. Thyristors and switching capacitor are shorted out by protective circuits for protection against voltage surges; each of these protective circuits is set up of in-series connected varistor and resistor. Newly introduced in device are two additional thyristors that function to enable reversal of current pulse coming from pre-charged capacitor in case of reversal of supply voltage polarity and dc current. Additional thyristors are also shorted out by means of above-described protective circuits. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and speed of dc inductive current disconnection. 3 cl, 2 dwg
