FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to electric engineering. The first version of improved hybrid DC switching device comprises the first electromechanical commutator with control system, the second electromechanical commutator with control system, two transistors with control system, current relay, on and off buttons, protective cutout device, relay of control and information unit, at the same time the first electromechanical commutator is connected serially to current relay and load, the second electromechanical commutator and two transistors are connected into a single serial circuit and parallel to the first electromechanical commutator, protective cutout device and off button are connected to control systems of the first and second electromechanical commutators and system of transistor control, control relay is connected to transistors, to system of the second electromechanical commutator control and to information unit. The second version of proposed device instead of the second transistor comprises safety fuse connected serially with transistor. The third version of proposed device instead of the second transistor comprises thermistor with positive temperature coefficient of specific resistance, connected serially to transistor.

EFFECT: improved reliability and simplification of device.
