FIELD: methods for controlling multistation communication networks. SUBSTANCE: proposed method for controlling network having plurality of stations capable of transmitting and receiving data among them includes monitoring of each station for quality of transmission route between this station and that the latter is capable of communicating with. Data corresponding to monitored quality of route are entered in each station so that transmission power can be chosen basing on relevant data on route quality in transmitting data to other station. Each station transmits data on route quality during its transmission mode and also data on local noise so that other stations can receive data on route quality for particular station even when they are disposed beyond operating range of this particular station. Invention also concerns device implementing this method . EFFECT: enhanced probability of transmitting data to any chosen station at optimal power level. 20 cl, 22 dwg
