FIELD: communication equipment. SUBSTANCE: adaptive communication system uses adjustable peak mode communication for data transmission between source and destination stations using one or several intermediate stations. Each station monitors activity of other stations in network by storing connection information, which can be used for further communication. Each station also sends sounding signals in order to detect other stations in the same band. In this case, messages are sent along network from station to station. Acknowledge data are sent back to source station, until destination station is reached. Older messages, which may pollute network, are delayed and deleted. Invention also discloses design of communication network and design of transceiver, which may be used in network. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities. 27 cl
