FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves stimulating reflex zones on the sternum corresponding to vertebral column segments so that manubrium sterni area corresponds to the cervical segment of the vertebral column, sternum body segment between the second and the third costal notches corresponds to the superior thoracic segment, sternum body segment between the third and the fourth costal notches corresponds to the inferior thoracic segment, the segment between the third and the fourth costal notches corresponds to the lumbar segment, the segment between the fifth and the seventh costal notches corresponds to the sacral segment, the xiphoid process corresponds to the coccyx, among six sternum segments connected by symphysis between the second, the third, the fourth, the fifth and the seventh costal sternal notches. Each sternal segment is uniformly distributed along median line by the number of segments equal to the number of vertebrae corresponding to this vertebral column segment. The segments are enumerated in the order from jugular fossa to xiphoid process. When detecting painfulness in reflexogenic zones along the median line and/or significant deviation of electric conductivity values, injured vertebral column segment is determined by its correspondence to the reflexogenic zone. EFFECT: high speed and reliability of early stage diagnosis. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
