FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: after carrying out through sclerotomy in 4 symmetrically located incisions one should implant polymeric implants. They are designed out of finely porous biologically compatible synthetic polymer as rectangular plate of supporting element. The plate is designed as single unit with supporting element located in the same plane against foundation. Axial line of implant's length coincides with that of supporting element's width. Implant's cross-section is of T-shaped form, plate's height corresponds to scleral thickness, and length - to incision's length. One should start to conduct 4 equidistant radial scleral incisions from 1.30. Each incision is supplemented with intrascleral implant. Supporting elements are fixed in subscleral space by applying implant along the incision. EFFECT: higher efficiency of operation. 2 cl, 2 dwg, 1 ex
