BAG FILTER Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: cleaning gases from dust and toxic gaseous components, hydrogen fluoride in particular; glass and chemical industries; metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: proposed bag filter has housing connected with bin at the bottom and separated into clean and dirty gas chambers by bag plate, vertical filtering bags whose open ends are secured in holes of said bag plate and shutters. Provision is also made for pulse regeneration system whose purging pipes are mounted in clean gas chamber with their holes directed towards open ends of filter bags. Supply gas duct directs dirty gas to dirty gas chamber; gas duct has common wall with dirty gas chamber and its lower end is connected with bin. Lower end of wall which is common for supply gas duct and dirty gas chamber is located above blanked-off ends of bags and upper end of shutters coincides with this end of shutters.
