FIELD: oil producing industry, particularly, development of oil deposits, more specifically, methods of recovery of viscous oil with use of heat in combination with drilling of horizontal wells. SUBSTANCE: method includes drilling of well with location of its opening on day surface; drilling of inclined inlet part of well down to producing formation occurrence; drilling of horizontal section of well with wellbore running along the strike of producing formation; injection of heat carrier; recovery of oil. Continuous well is drilled with formation of its outlet section upward with inclination from producing formation to day surface with location of well exit on day surface. Installed into drilled well is casing string and annular space is cemented over its entire length. Casing string is perforated within interval of horizontal section. Installation of tubing with centralizers inside casing string. Heat carrier is supplied from well opening and exit sections under pressure exceeding producing opening and exit sections under pressure exceeding producing formation pressure until oil diluting round wellbore over entire horizontal section. Then, oil is withdrawn from well exit section with continued injection of heat carrier into opening section of well. EFFECT: reduced power consumption due to reduced power capacity and higher efficiency of heat carrier use. 1 dwg
