FIELD: operation of aircraft engines in limits of established service life. SUBSTANCE: goal of this invention is achievement of new result consisting in establishment of worked-out life of engine with due account of its loading under operating conditions which makes it possible to raise its actual operating time without any work to increase assigned service life. Proposed technique includes establishment of its service life in accordance with determined load capacity, operation of engine within limits of established service life and evaluation of its technical condition. Novelty of technique lies in that load capacity of engine under operating conditions is found while its technical condition is evaluated, it is compared with established load capacity, coefficient of correspondence of load capacity under operating conditions and established one is determined, operating period is found with allowance for coefficient of correspondence and decision on further operation of engine is made with use of difference between this service life and presented operating time.
