FIELD: stereological analysis of object spatial organization including object investigation by planar images. SUBSTANCE: proposed method that can be used in lighting, transmission, and electronic engineering, confocal laser microscopy, as well as in computer , X-ray, magnetic-resonance, and ultrasonic tomography involves bringing object in interaction with n- dimensional stereological probe, measuring dimensions of object images obtained, and presenting measurement results in the form of distribution of object images which is approximated by setting object and stereological probe parameters. EFFECT: enhanced precision of stereological analysis. 20 cl, 21 dwg, 3 tbl
