FIELD: electromechanical engineering; electrical machines with permanent-magnet rotor. SUBSTANCE: electrical machine rotor has magnetic core that mounts permanent magnets with pole shoes. Holding members installed in gaps between pole shoes are rigidly secured on one end in magnetic core and other ends of these members tightly abut against surfaces of bevels provided on external ribs of pole shoes. Thrusts built up when rotor is running are imparted to magnetic core thereby enhancing operating reliability of electrical machine at high rotor speeds. EFFECT: enhanced speed control range, reduced mass and size. 4 cl, 2 dwg
