SUBSTANCE: for canceling copy protection signals use is made of partial shift of pulse position, modulation of AGC pulses, normal sync pulses, and pseudosync pulses to enlarge pulse-to-pulse separating gap, including selective shift of relative positions of either sync/pseudosync pulses or AGC pulses and contraction of either sync/pseudosync pulses and/or AGC pulses to produce selected separation between positions of sync/pseudosync pulses and AGC pulses. For protection use is made of dynamically varying separation of sync/pseudosync pulses and AGC pulses involving modulation of mentioned shift, leveling, and/or contraction within chosen time intervals to initiate protection protection-canceling protection cycle.
