FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to elevated and overhead transport systems employing rail tracks. Proposed system contains rail track made of hollow cylindrical rails whose radius is smaller than radius of curvature of concave rim of vehicle wheel in contact with rail. Prestressed longitudinal member is placed inside rail. Area of cross-section of longitudinal member is chosen from ratio f area of cross section of longitudinal member to area of cross section of hollow rail walls. Lengths of rail and longitudinal member are secured in common anchor units. Rails and wheel rim are made with definite ratio of radius of curvature of wheel rim concave surface to radius of outer surface of cylindrical rail. Relation of rail and wheel rim radii is also protected by patent. Space between inner walls of rail and longitudinal member can be filled with material expanding at solidification.
