FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to elevated and overhead transportation systems using rail track structures. According to proposed invention , rail contains hollow tubular housing 1 accommodating load-bearing member 2 made, for instance, in form of one or several prestressed rods, wire ropes or wires, with free spaces being filled up with hard monolithic material and adaptive layer 3 made of elastically deformable material is placed between inner surface of housing wall and monolithic material at least in zones of application of movable rail load. Adaptive layer can be made in form of envelope covering inner surface of housing, or in form of separate strips arranged in zones of application of movable rail load. EFFECT: improved stability of rail carrying capacity owing to reduction of pressures. 5 cl, 3 dwg
