FIELD: intensity measuring equipment. SUBSTANCE: device is intended to measure radiation intensity of electromagnetic radiation coming from lamp unit that includes at least one UV lamp placed in container meant for disinfection or photochemical treatment of running water. Radiation intensity is measured with the aid of light-guiding and sensor means. Light-guiding means include two doped light guides 1, 2 positioned in parallel with lamp or lamps preferably along entire length and two cut-off filters 3, 4 doped differently and embracing each light guide. Sensor 6 means are placed at end of each light guide. According to invention device can measure lengths of waves emitted by electromagnetic radiation specified in advance over entire length of lamp and as result total radiation intensity emitted by lamp can be measured. Invention is also related to container with certain arrangement of UV lamps and device measuring UV radiation intensity. EFFECT: enhanced functional reliability of device and system. 13 cl, 14 dwg
