Abstract RU 2807940 C1

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of chemistry of high-molecular compounds, namely to a UV-absorbing composition for producing a UV-absorbing film, a method of producing a UV-absorbing film based on it, as well as a method of producing UV-absorbing tinted glass with a UV protection function. The UV-absorbing composition contains a dispersion of UV absorber particles in an organic dispersion medium containing an organic resin in the following ratio of components, wt.%: 5–30 of asphaltenes isolated from heavy oil as a UV absorber; 28–38 of oligomeric polybutylene with a molecular weight of 4,500 g/mol as an organic disperse medium; and the rest is a mixture of two polyisobutylenes characterized by molecular weights of 1,100,000 g/mol and 51,000 g/mol as an organic resin. A method of producing a UV-absorbing film involves mixing the components of the above UV-absorbing composition in a rotary mixer at 120°C, forming the mixed product into an adhesive UV-absorbing film with a thickness of 130 microns by passing the mixed product, placed between the polyester film and the anti-adhesive polyester film, between calender rolls heated to 120°C, and subsequent cooling to room temperature. A method of producing UV-absorbing tinted glass with a UV protection function involves releasing the UV-absorbing film obtained by the above method from the anti-adhesive polyester film and applying it to the glass.

EFFECT: increased stickiness to glass under normal temperature conditions, increased adhesive strength of adhesive joints with glass, improved absorption of UV radiation and also recycling asphaltenes as a by-product of deasphalting heavy oil.
