GEAR DETERMINING POSITION OF OBJECT Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

Abstract RU 2150677 C1

FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: gear can be employed for determination of spatial position of object, tracking of object in space, determination of orientation of various objects or measurement of displacement of objects in space. Gear uses one multiscan photodetector for consistent determination of three spatial coordinates of position of object under conditions of background clutter with maintenance of speed of response and precision in determination of coordinates. Gear incorporates pulse generator, first source of luminous radiation and multiscan photodetector optically coupled to it and having division and common wires, two bias sources, first integrator, current-to- voltage converter, high-frequency filter connected in series and synchronous detector electrically coupled to generator. First source of luminous radiation is connected to first output of pulse generator, bias sources are connected with one leads to proper leads of division wire and with other leads between themselves. Input of current-to- voltage converter is connected to common wire of multiscan photodetector. Gear is supplemented with second and third sources of luminous radiation, five keys, second, third and fourth integrators, second and third information storages and current source. Pulse generator is multichannel one. First input of first key is connected to output of current-to-voltage converter. Fourth integrator whose output is linked to first input of second key is linked to output of first key. First, second and third information storages are connected to corresponding outputs of second key and their outputs are connected to corresponding inputs of third key. Current source is linked to output of third key, output of current source is connected to input of current-to-voltage converter. Second and third integrators are connected in parallel to first integrator. Inputs of first, second and third integrators are connected to proper outputs of fourth key. First input of fourth key is connected to output of synchronous detector. Outputs of first, second and third integrators are connected to proper inputs of fifth key which output is connected to integrated lead of bias sources. Second and third sources of luminous radiation are connected correspondingly to second and third outputs of generator. Fourth output of generator is connected to second inputs of second and fourth keys and to fourth inputs of third and fifth keys and fifth output of generator is connected to second inputs of first key and synchronous detector. EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities of gear. 1 dwg
