FIELD: manufacture of multilayer materials utilized in shipbuilding, automotive industry, railway transport, construction industry, aviation equipment. SUBSTANCE: proposed structural multifunctional stratified metal-and-polymer material is employed where combination of high strength, damping and heat protection is required. It contains alternating layers of metal sheets and polymer interlayers produced from visco-elastic polymer confined between them. Interlayers are fabricated from mixture of blockoligomers of carboxylic acids and hardener in proportion ensuring modulus of rated elasticity above 800 MPa and loss factor of mechanical energy of flexural vibrations not less than 0.3. Thickness of interlayers amounts to 5.0% of total thickness of metal sheets as minimum and thickness of each interlayer is under 0.2 mm. EFFECT: raised flexural strength of material. 1 cl, 2 tbl
