POLYMER COMPOSITE MATERIAL WITH INTEGRATED VIBRATION-ABSORBING LAYER Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC C08J5/24 B32B15/95

Abstract RU 2687938 C1

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laminar polymer composite materials with high vibration-absorbing properties and can be used to reduce vibration and structural noise in low-loaded structural elements of aviation equipment. Polymer composite material with integrated vibration-absorbing layer includes structural layers based on glass fabric prepreg and inner vibration-absorbing layer. Inner vibration-absorbing layer is made in the form of a film from thermoplastic polyurethane on base of polyether, which is located between two barrier layers from aluminium foil. Barrier layers are located inside structural layers.

EFFECT: invention provides for creation of self-extinguishing laminar polymer composite material with high vibration-absorbing properties (mechanical loss coefficient) while maintaining its mechanical properties (bending strength of not less than 400 MPa), providing an increase in the damping properties of low-loaded structural elements of aircraft engineering articles.
