FIELD: mechanical engineering; transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in wheeled vehicles. Proposed method comes to limiting of drive pressure in brake system depending on angle of turning of steerable wheels. Novelty is that angle of vehicle body roll is additionally measured relative to its neutral position and drive pressure in brake mechanisms of inner wheels of said, relative to center of turning, is decreased, as angle of roll increases, by value equal to product of pressure built in brake system, sine of body roll angle and suspension rigidity coefficient, and drive pressure in brake mechanisms of outer wheels of side relative to center of turning is increased by the same value. EFFECT: improved braking characteristics, increased stability and preserved serviceability of vehicle when brakes are applied at cornering. 6 dwg
