SUBSTANCE: proposed furnace roller has shaft with bearing washers mounted on it, screening metal bus bar with projecting members of working surface for direct contact with lower surface of slab and heat insulation layer made from kaolin wool. Screening bus bar is made in form of sleeve with inner member for resting on shaft which is located at spaced relation to shaft. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and durability of roller. 1 dwg
