FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed automatic ignition advance mechanism relates to control systems of internal combustion engine. It has engine operation parameters pickups, microprocessor controller whose input ports are connected to output of engine parameters pickups and output ports are connected to engine operation changing system. Advance mechanism has also fixed storage, analog-to-digital converter and octane selector. Sparking pickup output is connected with first input of microprocessor controller, output of vacuum pickup is connected through analog-to-digital converter with second input of microprocessor controller. Octane selector is made in form of series RC-circuit consisting of variable resistor and capacitor whose point of connection is connected to third input of microprocessor controller. Other lead of variable resistor is connected to first output of microprocessor controller whose second output is connected with input of ignition system transistor switch. Fixed storage and microprocessor controller are connected by digit transfer bus. Second output of capacitor is grounded. EFFECT: enhanced operation reliability. 2 cl, 1 dwg
