Abstract RU 2212623 C1

FIELD: targets for sighting in the radar band and infra-red spectrum corresponding to the operating band of the infra-red imager. SUBSTANCE: in the target having a reflector, spherical shell being in the air, filled with gas with a density lower than the air density, fastening rope adjustable in height, connected to a fastening member retaining the reflector and the spherical shell, the reflector is made in the form of four similar semicircular plates. The plates are coated with a heat-radiating layer and connected by straight ribs oriented perpendicularly to the ground surface at right angles to one another. The reflector is suspended by means of an additional second rope connecting it to the spherical shell. From the bottom the reflector is connected to the fastened rope. EFFECT: expanded sphere of use of the radar target in the infra-red spectrum; replacement of the real target with a heat simulator possessing a visible section corresponding to the diameter of the fuselage of the flight vehicle, and having a radiating power close to the radiating power of the missile skin at kinetic heating-up in the process of flight, as well as simplified construction and reduced price of the target. 2 dwg
