FIELD: measurement technology, determination of velocity of single-phase liquid flow under laminar and turbulent conditions of flow. SUBSTANCE: characteristic feature of invention consists in isolation of legitimate signal formed by junction of measurement thermocouple from signal generated by A C source which is achieved by supply of counterphase signal formed by additional measurement network incorporating compensation thermocouple, A C power supply source identical to measurement thermocouple and A C source of basic measurement network. Flow velocity of liquid is established on basis of dependence W = f(Tm-Tc), where W is flow velocity; Tm, Tc - are temperatures of junctions of measurement and compensation thermocouples correspondingly. Powers supplied to junctions of measurement and compensation thermocouples are different. EFFECT: raised accuracy of determination of flow velocity of liquid. 2 dwg
