MANUAL BENDING APPARATUS Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: manual bending of strip materials, for example bending knives and guides of punching out forms. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes base, die, punch mounted with possibility of reciprocation motion, guide with movable stop. Die and punch are in the form of changeable paired set with profiled working surfaces. Punch is mounted in holder joined with mechanism for moving it. Die is mounted in base and it is provided with adjustable stop increasing bending rigidity of die and providing its arranging in working position. Guide is in the form of rod mounted with clearance fit in through opening of base; guide has bracket supporting movable stop mounted with possibility of additional motion along guide for placing blank in working position. Apparatus also has means for enhancing comfort of operator and for lowering efforts applied for bending. EFFECT: possibility for making articles with different profiles, enhanced accuracy of bending operations. 10 cl, 7 dwg
