DIE SET FOR STAMPING OUT GROOVES IN STRIP BLANKS Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: plastic working of materials, possibly stamping out grooves in strip blanks of cutters of forms used for making packages, labels. SUBSTANCE: die set includes die placed on base and having through opening, working surface and cutting edge; punch with cutting edge. Punch is mounted in holder and it is in the form of polyhedron with cross section (in plane parallel relative to working surface of die) corresponding to contour of its through opening. Holder is rigidly joined with slide which is jointly connected with eccentric having handle attached to it. Guide in the form of cylindrical rod is rigidly secured to base normally relative to motion direction of punch. Bracket having fixing member moves on said guide. Stop with lock nut is arranged in bracket with possibility of motion along guide. Said stop has working plane parallel relative to motion direction of punch. Spring-loaded clamp in the form of rod is mounted in punch normally relative to working surface of die. Axis of clamp is arranged in symmetry plane of punch and die.
