FIELD: oil-gas producing industry, particularly, protection of casing string from high-pressure effect and corrosion by separation of annulus by packer. SUBSTANCE: packer includes lowered into injection well on tubing: upper and lower bodies connected with expanded branch pipe whose surface carries sealing member in form of flexible shell, mandrel located in body and hydraulic chamber. In this case, mandrel is installed in upper body and made hollow whose external surface has annular projections on sections installed opposite to sealing members at end of process of mandrelling, and provided with removable valve located in its lower end. End of lower body has centralizer with connecting thread for device for cleaning the place of installation of expanded branch pipe and with protruding inside annular conical projection for mandrel wedging. Hydraulic chamber is formed by cavity of mandrel with valve and cavities of upper body and tubing. Method of packer setting includes, prior to its lowering into well, connection to its upper body of anchoring device with locking members extensible under effect of pressure of water injected into formation Connected to lower body is device for cleaning of place of installation of expanded branch pipe from corrosion products, salt deposits and other impurities by device reciprocation.
