FIELD: fiber-optical measurement facilities. SUBSTANCE: proposed fiber-optical transducer includes radiation source, polarizer, optically active crystal, photodetector. Value of length of optically active crystal and angle between optical axes of polarizer and analyzer are so chosen that deviation of value of Verdet constant from temperature is compensated by deviation of coefficient of own circular birefringence from temperature with provision for maximum depth of signal modulation.
