FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring electric currents and concerns a fibre-optic electric current sensor. Sensor has a radiation source, an inlet and an outlet connectors, an inlet and an outlet collimators, a polarizer, an optically active crystal, an analyzer, a photodetector. Polarizer and the analyzer have a coefficient of extinction of not less than 100 and their optical axes are turned relative to each other at an angle, which is selected from the condition of maximum temperature compensation at maximum sensitivity.

EFFECT: technical result is the improvement of accuracy of measurements.
