FIELD: pulse engineering. SUBSTANCE: discharge tube designed for generating high-voltage and heavy-current nanosecond voltage pulses primarily for feeding heavy-current electrophysical pulsed devices such as charged particle accelerators has first and second electrodes coaxially disposed in its case and provided with blind axial holes and power leads, as well as intermediate electrode. First main electrode is mounted for axial displacement relative to case. Intermediate electrode is installed for axial displacement relative to main electrodes and is secured on insulating bushing whose first end is fitted in axial hole of first main electrode. Novelty is that two springs are newly introduced in discharge tube, intermediate electrode is secured in center of insulating bushing whose second end is disposed in blind axial hole of second main electrode, and each of mentioned springs is disposed in blind axial hole of one of main electrodes between bottom of this blind hole and respective end of insulating bushing. Such arrangement provides for coordinated in-service adjustment of spark gaps. EFFECT: facilitated operation and maintenance. 6 cl, 2 dwg
