FIELD: intermediate detonators designed for initiation of explosives used for blast operation. SUBSTANCE: the cartridge-detonator has a sealed polymeric body accommodating an explosive charge of free-flowing explosive, for example, phlegmatized hexogen. The body is made in the form of a cylindrical vessel with a wall thickness within 0.2 to 0.8 mm and a cover with a thread for connection to the cylindrical vessel. A grove is made on the surface of the cylindrical vessel, it is positioned diametrically in the bottom part and in the generating lines of the cylindrical section and terminating in the upper section of the cylindrical vessel by ledges for arrangement of the initiation means in it, for example, detonating wire or non-electric detonator with a percussion-wave tube or electric detonator. Annular grooves for the fasteners, for example, rubber rings, are made on the side surface of the cylindrical vessel.
