FIELD: blasting operations.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to detonator sticks designed to initiate the all types of industrial explosives substances (ES) detonation in wells of any degree of watering, the oversize crushing, and to their manufacturing method. Disclosed is the ballistic detonator stick BDS, arranged in the protective cup with cover and made of ballistic rocket solid fuel (BRSF) in the form of cylindrical stick with the through axial channel and blind hole located from one of the stick ends parallel to the axial channel, characterized in that, in the first embodiment, the detonator stick is made of the sensitive to the primary initiation means (IM) BRSF composition, blind hole is used as a socket for the capsular IM, in the second embodiment, the detonator stick is made of the composition of insensitive to the primary IM BRSF composition, at that, in the blind hole the intermediate initiator in various versions is located, made of high-explosive ES (HES), including graphite, or from the HES and BRSF mixture. Intermediate initiator is fixed in the blind hole by the fixing element made of BRSF or its mixture with HES. Detonator stick manufacturing method includes the manufacturing, placement and fixing operations of its elements forming nondetachable connections.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at the detonator stick creation on the basis of BRSF of any known composition, freshly prepared or disposed, with any shelf life, triggered by the primary initiation means in dry and watered wells, and also at low temperatures, safe to handle and with direct application, with wide raw material base and scope of application.
